The Granby Hotel - Whitby

The room was spotless and with absolutely amazing decoration. The location was central, short walk to Whitby as well as restaurants.

The food was reasonably priced!

The food was brilliant, efficient service.

It was a very enjoyable stay, fabulous and exceptionally friendly place. The venue was immaculately clean and the staff were very amiable. Last time I stopped, had a nice size and reasonably priced room with a very comfy bed.

The two bed family apartment was gorgeous and very clean. The view was lovely. The breakfast was superb for the price, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Don't miss out on tuesday bingo night, it's great fun!

We had a lovely romantic date, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The quadruple room was spacious and spotlessly clean, great to relax after exploring the charming town.

During my stay, I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, which brightened my visit despite the minor hiccup of the loose bathroom handle. The location proved ideal for exploring Whitby, adding wonderful memories to my trip.

The two flights of stairs can feel daunting, especially with luggage, although it's manageable. Shower operation isn't intuitive, and no guidance provided left me puzzled at first. Limited parking on a narrow one-way street, requiring early risers to avoid regulation times. Breakfast options lack variety and are pricey at £10 each. While some food spots nearby open late, choices for a quick morning meal are scarce.

I loved the immense, delicious portion sizes, especially the fish and chips, which were beautifully cooked. The welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. I'd definitely return next time!

It was a perfect base for exploring Whitby, with gorgeous decor and a fine harbor view. The breakfast was superb and the staff was friendly. We even enjoyed some fun bingo night entertainment with the kids.

Enjoyed darts at the inn and a lovely day by the harbour. The place is super cozy, and the staff were friendly. It's close to everything, so you can easily explore. Pricing is fair, and you'll love the home-cooked meals in the pub downstairs.

One small downside was the noise at night from live music. It made it a bit tough to get to sleep.

Fantastic location and delicious food

The food at the pub was really good, especially the home-cooked meals that were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The room could benefit from minor improvements, particularly regarding furniture comfort.

The Granby had its highlights and a few downsides. The quadruple room was spacious, super clean, and boasted lovely decor. I enjoyed the beautiful view outside my window. The staff were really friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Breakfast was a standout. The quality was excellent for the price. I loved the home-cooked meals, especially the Yorkshire portions at dinner. A few minor issues arose . The bathroom door handle felt loose, and the shower door didn't close properly, a bit inconvenient. I wished there were more coat hangers provided in the room. The pub gets lively at night, great, but the noise from entertainment made it tough to settle down for sleep. I had a good experience, but a little more attention to detail in the room could make it even better.

Amazing stay! Best part was the cozy atmosphere 🤗, perfect for relaxing after exploring Whitby. Only downside was some noise from the pub downstairs, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
